You can spend one whole day at the National Museum of American History. We did! Washington D.C. has so much to see you can spend a week there.

I love how you keep notes on what you eat on your trip, my husband and I do the same. Of course I also keep a diary of the trip everyday as well. Five years ago we did a Greek Island Cruise it was fantastic, enjoy!

Even us Angelenos (A native or inhabitant of Los Angeles) are amazed when we visit Las Vegas.

Visiting Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, and Washington will give you an entirely different perspective. That is where you really learn about America’s history. The Smithsonian American History Museum in Washington and the Freedom Trail in Boston are my two favorites.

I’d be hard pressed to come up with a highlight on my trip! It was all good and magical, especially the shopping! I did love Lucerne though and the Matterhorn was spectacular. Zermatt is such a cozy little town.

Hi Susan!
You have echoed my thoughts exactly. If there was one downfall to this adventure, it’s that it wasn’t long enough! Zermatt was indeed a highlight as our TD arranged to have a picture taken of each of us in front of the Matterhorn with “Biscuit” the St. Bernard!!

Glenna, I loved reading part 1 of your journey through Switzerland, I visited Switzerland on a Trafalgar tour in 2004 and loved what we saw, our trip to Mt Pilatus was a stand out highlight of Switzerland.
